Background

Rebecca and I are both school teachers for Ausitn ISD. I teach middle school U.S. History at Covington M.S. and Rebecca teaches special education at Linder Elementary. Before I came to teaching I was a professional Archaeologist then a telecommunications contractor. I am also a tradesman and do Floors, Doors and windows as well as general carpentry. Rebecca has a background in health care administration. I have two children, Grant 14 and Austin 19 from a previous marriage. We own the property across the street from the Health Institute (it doesn't have a street address yet) and are planning on building within the next 12 months.

Interests

We are both into sustainable living and enjoy gardening but Rebecca is the head gardner. I am spread thin in the hobby department. I enjoy sailing our 31 foot sailboat ''Good Morrow'', playing music, Brewing Beer, Ham Radio and running.

Our Goals

Out goal is to build a sustainable home using strawbale construction with minimal attachment to the grid. We also would like to see the Land Owners Association become organized.
